We had a wonderful, quiet & undisturbed stay at the Anglers Lodge. The place is tranquil and was not crowded, so we really enjoyed the spacious grounds of the Lodge. The communal kitchen and bathroom facilities were super clean. Overall very well maintained. The pool and games room were much fun for the children. We did fishing at the bay right outside the Lodge. There is minimum 15-20min drive out from the Lodge to Coromandel and the Peninsula.

Been a few times to this place and keep forgetting to review. It's truly superb. From the hospitality, the cleanliness right through to their launch and retrieve service and the private Spas. It has it all. There are chillout zones, great communal cooking areas and bait storage too. There is a little store with basics and hot coffee aswell. Their filletting station is perfectly positioned in the shade and you have a great double hose wash down area for your boat. For those not even into fishing, there is a huge pool to laze around in and relax the fay away too! As the title suggests. Book. Pack. Go.

We had a lovely 2 night stay away at the Anglers Lodge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The unit was spotless and well equip with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and pillows soft and fluffy. There is a pool and spa onsite,BBQ area,fish filleting area, laundry,small shop with sells the best barista coffee,kids area,walking track and eels in the river you can feed. The view from our room was amazing and were lucky enough to capture the beautiful sunset. All in all a great stay and will definitely come back for a another visit soon

Beautiful spot right beside the beach and very quiet when we went in November 2023. Facilities were super clean and staff really friendly and helpful. Showers were awesome, hot and powerful!! Lots of bird life and pet eels to feed. Fishing was good :)

We have stayed at Anglers Lodge several times now as a family and have been extremely satisfied each time. The grounds are family friendly and the amenities are always immaculate and well maintained. Staff are always very accommodating and friendly and they have thought of everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! We look forward to our next visit!

From start to finish, absolutely loved our stay here at the Anglers. The location is stunning. The unit, gorgeous and perfectly well-equipped. The whole place has a great vibe. Thanks to the managers for being so welcoming and down-to-earth. Not fantastic phone/internet signal but was nice for the kids to not be able to be so tied to their devices. Such a treat to have stayed here.

Booked a half day fishing charter 15 Jan, party of 5, Dawson was our skipper, we all had a fantastic experience and we enjoyed Dawson’s sense of humour, casual relaxed nature. Caught plenty of fish and had loads of fun, would highly recommend the charter!
